rose is rose a bit bitter perhaps 8% in 160 wax to get a good cold throw
This smells like lovely pure rose oil. It’s not perfumey and smells just like fresh roses. Just beautiful with a very nice lit throw. Buying again!
Used in CP and a little goes a looong way. This is the perfect red rose with green stem and leaf scent. I used as a top note in a Blend to replicate a more floral dragons blood. Gorgeous!
It will accelerate but SO WORTH IT.
I received this as part of the 99 cent sample sale and will buy again.
Great scent and it smells just like roses.
I have loved this scent for years. I use is in Ecosoya container wax and pillar/tart wax with amazing success. Votives and tarts hold their scent for over a year. I also love it in MP soap, and always sell out. Can't give it 5 stars only because when I recently used it in CP soap for the first time the scent morphed into something intolerable. It may be my mix of oils, but I can't use it in CP. There was some acceleration, but I was anticipating in and worked fast.
Overall, a GREAT scent, just not for my CP.
I love the Rose! I actually mixed it with Amber Noir, one of my favorites to mix with strong fragrances. I used .45 oz. Amber Noir/.55 oz. Rose It beautiful and the Amber Noir makes it more sensual. I used 464 in a 12 oz cube. Going to sell to my customers.
When I recently ordered this again, I noticed that I had written a review almost 2 years ago. Everything still holds true, and this rose has become my one and only true-love rose fragrance oil. I'll somewhat revise my original review to say that in CP it is indeed wonderful, stable, and the fragrance stays true, however it does fade somewhat. Over time it can become quite light. If you want a very lightly fragrant soap, it's perfect, just give it a good long cure. But because it's such a beautiful fragrance and well-loved by customers including those who don't usually gravitate to rose, I want it to stay strong so now I do HP for this fragrance. Typically I'll only do HP rather than CP if it's a very special fragrance that I or others really, really love and CP is just too rigorous of a process for that particular fragrance oil, otherwise I'm pretty much a CP purist. There's no noticeable fade if the fragrance is added at the end of the cook doing HP. This rose is just so perfect! For anyone who remembers, it's just like the "Rose Milk" hand lotion that was popular in the late '60's and '70's. Thanks Candle Science, from me and many happy customers!
I love the Rose fragrance oil. I didn't use it in candles or soap but I made a homemade air freshener with 1 oz of Rose oil, 1 cup tap water, 2-4 Tbsp of Vodka and shook well then sprayed the air. It smells wonderful and the smell of fresh cut roses lingers through the air.
This is a delightful, fresh rose scent. Performs well too.
Not a fan of flowery scents but I agree it smells just like freshly cut roses. I used this with the ecosoya adv wax and had a perfect strong throw. Now hoping it sells a lot just in time for valentine's! :)
I used this scent with GW464 and I love it
Made a batch for Valentine's and everyone loved them.
I used this scent with soy wax, it has a great cold and hot throw. Loved it!!
Beautiful, classic rose scent. Strong. Just lovely. I used it to make Hot Processed soap and it was gorgeous. Scent stayed true and fresh. Great alone or mixed with other fragrances for a custom blend. Will buy this again.
This is the first rose fragrance I've found that's held up to CP soaping without the fragrance going the least bit wonky. Beautiful rose scent, soaps beautifully, no ricing, stable fragrance. Thank you CandleScience!!
If you love gardening or just the smell of roses, you have to purchase this! I loved the smell from the bottle and loved it even more when I combined it with wax. It is a little strong but it makes my house smell amazing without even being lit. Highly recommend!
I added this to my room temp oil/lye water mixture at light trace and it instantly seized on me. I was able to stir it back to a plop-able pour into my mold.
Is there anybody out there that doesn't like the scent of rose? Of course not. And this fragrance doesn't disappoint. It is a strong, full-bodied rose, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Okay, yes, rose can be equated, somewhat, to an old-lady smell. Since I love it, I guess that makes me an old lady. (Also a great mixer to use as a base note.)
Smells great, not an overpowering flower smell like some other floral scents, very fresh.
Smells like I just went to the floral shop. Used GB464 Eco#10 Wax. Scent was not to over powering but enough to fill a good size room.
I love this scent! It is perfect in my bath jellies. If you like smelling like fresh cut flowers, this is a great product!
The greatest scent throw in my palm wax tarts. Very TRUE to the actual red rose. My customers actually are able to use the tarts they purchase from me with the ROSE scent, over and over again. Scent lasts a LONG time. Just like having someone special sending you roses.
Love It, The rose scent is very true, Strong but not too strong Used with Palm Wax. Keeper!
Most rose scents smell fake or like plastic. This is a great realistic rose scent.
This is by far the best rose FO that I have ever used. My customers LOVE IT!! I sell out at every festival. Keep it up CS
Best rose I have used & soaps great.
the one thing that I like is that this rose smells just like I am walk through a rose garden
