We experienced a slight amount of acceleration but no separation. The batter came to a light trace quickly, however, we continued stick blending to a medium trace and found the soap was thickening while trying to pour into the mold. After 24 hours the soap had discolored to a tan shade and the scent was quite strong. We did observe the soap had almost reached a full gel with no insulation. Also, the area that did go through the gel phase was more yellow while the outside areas that did not go through the gel phase were a slightly tan color. After 30 days, the gelled area became brown while the ungelled area remained a tan color. The scent was strong with more dominant rose notes and a creamy vanilla base note. We think that either hand stirring in the fragrance or bringing just to a very light trace would allow time for a slightly complex design if desired.
