Create stunning pillar candles with IGI's 6028 Paraffin/Soy Pillar Blend Wax. This paraffin/soy pillar blend offers the fragrance throw and easy burning of paraffin, with the appealing look and usability of soy. IGI 6028 resists frosting, requires no additional additives, and easily incorporates candle dye. The soy content in this wax results in lighter pastel shades when dye is used. We recommend a maximum of 1 oz of fragrance per pound (6%) for pillar and votive candles, and a maximum of 1.5 oz of fragrance (9%) per pound for wax melts and tarts.

Need Help

I am new to making candles and wax melts i need help on how to make the HT stronger.. we followed all the instructions to the tee they smell amazing in the clamp shells but the HT is very faint we don't want to go too far over the FO limit but we also want our wax melts nice and strong please help.. the wax itself was very easy to work with and it comes out the shells with ease..

Hi there! A member of our Support Team will be reaching out shortly!

-The wax slab is easy to break into meltable pieces
-This wax is opaque and dyes well
-There were no sink holes so a second pour was not necessary
-The candle popped right out of the mold at room temperature as soon as it had cooled
-The scent throw was pretty good.

Tarts were beautiful but, HT was Faint.

This wax is so beautiful and creamy takes colors very well. Pops out of molds and clamshells with no problem. The cold throw was great after 2 weeks. I heated to 190 added Fo 180-185 FL was above 12% stir for 2mins +. HT was very light almost faint. I still will use this but, I will mix it with paraffin wax for a better HT throw and use this wax to help with the appearance.

Really pleased

This wax is great! I usually blended paraffin with soy anyways in my pots, so it was nice to find a pre-mixed slab. The wax comes out beautifully with really vivid colors and a great texture/finish.

I simply love this 6028 wax! I've been blending colors based on my old Pantone mixing book. The finish is outstanding. I had minimal tunneling with pillar molds. I would like to know the percent of soy vs paraffin. Thanks for offering this wax!!
