Small Melting and Pouring Pitcher for Candle Making

Our small aluminum pouring pitcher holds 1 lb. (454 g) of wax making it perfect for small batches and tealights. This wax melting pot features a plastic handle that stays cool for easy handling, and a tapered spout for precise pouring.

Cleaning Tip: For easy cleaning post-candle making, remelt the leftover wax with a double-boiler setup. Then, carefully wipe the melted wax out with a paper towel. If there's any residual wax or fragrance left, just spray the inside out with rubbing alcohol and wipe it down again.

Maybe used…?

Got my order today, everything was accurate but I just opened this small pour pitcher and a larger one and was comparing the 2. Right off the bat I noticed an oily substance in the bottom with some debris in it. Unsure on what it is, but I’m sure it’s cleanable. Looking at the bottoms, the small pour pitcher shows some dark spots similar to after a pour pitcher’s been heated. Will definitely be used and is usable, just not as nice as the large our pitcher.

Continued Frustration with Pouring and Spills

I have 2 of these small pouring pitchers. It doesn't matter if I use paraffin or soy wax I get spills/dripping every time I pour my candles. I either have to, try to, pour really slow or really fast to avoid any wax from spilling/dripping down the pitcher and off the bottom. It makes it difficult sometimes getting the precise net weight for the candle I'm pouring. It's also messy and wastes wax. It gets the job done, but there is more time going into the candles to fix them. I'm hesitant to see if the Large Pouring Pitcher will do the same thing.

One minor change would make a world of difference

I've had these pouring pots for years now. They work great and hold up great. The one problem I have with them is that they are straight-walled, not tapered, so you can't stack the pots inside each other. I have 8 small pots and two large and they take up SO. MUCH. SPACE. If these were just tapered ever so slightly, you could save your customers like 80% of the space these things are currently taking up.

Other than that - these are great! ☺️

I was excited to receive this - it's the perfect size for a small batch and much easier to clean than the 4lb pots, but the pouring spout is awful.
Pour too slow and it drips down the front, pour too fast and it gushes out creating air pockets I have to go back and fix. I'm sticking with the 4lb pot.

Perfect for Tealights and Tester Jars

I use this for my tea light batches , as well as, pouring my tester candles. Its easier to handle and control with smaller amounts of wax. Love it. Also the handle is super sturdy.

Question please?

Can I use this small pitcher to make a (3 candles) each one is 8oz ?? I calculated and found that I will need to start with a (one and half lb) of wax to be able to make 3 (8oz) candles .. so???
Thank you very much

This pitcher holds about 1 pound of wax, for making larger batches that would need more than that, you may want to look at our Large Pouring Pitcher as a better alternative.

Hi! I love the pouring pitching. I wonder if I did something wrong. I was using it as a double boiler and it completely discolored the lower half of my pot. Is it not intended to be used this way? Just wondering. Thanks!

As expected

I like to use smaller batches. Works great for 1lb wax batch.

Bought several of these all working well!

Great for making 1 lb candle batches. Just the right size for pour tealights!
