The fragrance is my favorite and my best seller this season with candles and melts. Love love love the smell. Just like a christmas tree. Way better than fresh cut Christmas tree and christmas tree farm from Aztec! Please keep making it. It ml ixes great with citrus, orange, cranberry, holly berry, and more to make even christmasier smells. 2 thumbs up! 5 stars! Amazing!

The pine or Christmas tree scent is way to subtle for me
The flashpoint for this fragrance is 169!!! if you're heating your wax to 185 and then pouring the fragrance right away it's going to evaporate the fragrance!!! Let your wax cool until it's at least below 169, around 150 degrees is always a safe bet, so the fragrance doesn't dissipate.
Pouring at 135 should be fine. I typically wait until 120-130 because I don't heat my jars.
I've used this fragrance before, wasn't super thrilled with the "christmas" aspect of it. It was subtle, and very woodsy smelling.
I'm a bigger fan of White Birch for the perfect christmas pine tree smell.
HI! Thank you for leaving a review, we really appreciate it. We just wanted to mention that the flashpoint will have no bearing on when you add the fragrance to the wax. That is simply the temperature the fragrance would spark if exposed to an open flame. However, there are no open flames in your candlemaking process! All fragrances perform best when added to the wax at 185*F. this will ensure that they are able to properly bind to the wax and give off the best scent! Check out our FAQ on flashpoint for more information on why we list it on the label! https://support.candlescience.com/hc/en-us/articles/201390030-What-does-the-fragrance-flashpoint-mean-
I love this scent, except I'm getting many complains about the hot throw scent. No one can smell it once its lit. Any reccomendations? I usually add the fragrance to 464 soy wax at 185F degrees, and pour the wax in jars at 135F degrees... am I doing something wrong?
What can I what else can I say? CS you hit it out of the park again what a beautiful Christmas scent ! I wasn’t sure when I smelled it in the bottle but when I added it to the wax the hot and cold through was absolutely spectacular I would totally recommend anyone who is on the fence about ordering this sent because it is again spectacular thanks for another great sent to add to my collection candle science happy holidays
I made soy snowflake candles with this scent and it smells amazing. Mixed with the wax you smell like berry in the background but once it cools the pine and balsim fir come back!
This is the perfect Christmas scent! Smells just like winter time and Christmas trees. Can't wait to get more
Best smelling Christmas Tree scent
Maybe this was reformulated but I poured this twice in 4630 paraffin wax, you would think this would have an amazing cold throw.
At 6 per cent there was absolutely zero scent. I poured another tester to check. Again the same. I count on Candle Science to have robust scents in wax. This one is not. If you need a fir pine head to Fraser Fir or Blue Spruce.
This is the perfect Christmas Tree scent!! It's not to "piney". Great scent!!
I must have done something wrong but I used this scent with 464 and now have Christmas candles with very little throw.
Absolutely love this scent. If you want something that smells like "Christmas" then this is it! I make candles only for family/friends, and for my purposes it did great. They all enjoy the scent.
I used this in 464 at a 9% FO load and it was overpowering, and strong. Very Pine smelling. Most of my customers who smelled it did not like it. If I did use it again I would reduce the FO down to 5%
Used this at 10% in 464 and honestly just ended up smelling like a cheap walmart candle that should be an ugly burgundy red. It didn't smell fresh at all, rather it smelled like old christmas potpourri. Tried Frasier Fir and it was LIGHTYEARS beyond this.
My customers LOVE this scent. It has good throw, both hot and cold, with GB 464.
Smells exactly as described. Very lovely scent. Great hot and cold throw.
This was as good as I could have possibly hoped to get for a Christmas Tree scent. I like it a lot, and I don't normally like woodsy smells this much.
I was hoping this would be like the other scents I have used that fill my entire house with the smell when I made the candle but it wasn't and the cold throw is a bit lacking too. I hope they have a stronger scent when I burn them.
This is a great scent!! Its not that overbearing pine tree smell but it is strong enough to make your whole house smell good.
I would burn this any time of the year.
This is a great fragrance but it smells more like the holidays in general than Christmas tree. The pine is there but I was hoping for it to be a bit stronger. Overall though it is a great fragrance.
This fragrance is interesting! To me it smells like a mix of Christmas tree and just the holidays in general. It also has great throw. Good all around!
I love the holidays and the smell of pine trees! This scent just makes you happy! It has a fantastic scent throw, both cold and hot. This is definitely a wintertime favorite!
This fragrance oil smells just like a pine forest, which is what I decided to call it. I absolutely love the smell of pine trees and this scent is so refreshing! It's not over powering, not overly strong. The scent throw is amazing when both cold and hot, long lasting and stays smelling like pine for hours!
I bought this scent and the Blue Spruce - only issue I have is that I can't tell which one I like better. The Christmas Tree scent smells like a fresh pine tree and the Blue Spruce has a slightly different scent, which I believe does smell more like a Blue Spruce than a Pine Tree. Both smell like fresh Christmas trees and I love it. I used this scent to make my family jar candles. Reminds me of walking through the woods full of Pine trees.
I will keep ordering.
Well, I can't seem to get a strong scent as I was hoping. very light pine scent.
I used this for my Christmas time soaps. Everyone loved it.
Wonderful scent throw, with the sweet pine finish that you look for. Smells great- sold out instantly!
This is a great Holiday scent. Made with GB464 Eco#10 filled the kitchen up very nice. Not too strong. Just enough to complete a room
Great smell. You might think I had a real tree!
I feel this scent deserves 3 leaves. It was very strong with just 1 oz in a large candle. I gave this candle as a Christmas gift to my mother in law. And while I did not think it smelled like a christmas tree, it is still one of my favorite scents ever!!!!
A very nice Winter/Holiday scent. Very pleasing.
I used this scent in a container candle with IGI 4627 Comfort Blend. The scent was very strong (which is what I like), and I could smell it over all the other candles I made that day. The throw on it was just awesome and none of the candles made with this scent were ever even lit in my house. I would definitely recommend this one for your holiday candles!!!
