Cold Process Soap Performance
Acceleration Discoloration Separation
Slight None None

Lye Water Temperature 98ºF
Oil temperature 113ºF

We experienced a slight amount of acceleration, but no separation occurred. The batter quickly came to a light trace, but could easily be used to create decorative swirls in multiple colors. After 24 hours there was no discoloration, and the scent was strong. We did observe that the soap reached a full gel with minimal insulation. After the cure, there was no discoloration, and the scent was strong.

*Note - This fragrance was tested at a 5% fragrance load. With the release of IFRAs 49th Amendment this fragrance can now be used at 3.1% to remain IFRA compliant.

Love it!

I love this scent, definitely gives island vibes! Strong scent but I do also mix it with lime essential oil and use 1.25 oz of oil per lb wax. My customers love it as well. Fills my entire living area when burning.

Nice scent, but has no hot throw in candles at all!!

Smells so good but very Mild HT even after 2 weeks cure. Used in Melts, still very mild. Used in soaps and it was good.

I wasn't able to please my customers and that's not good!

I love the smell of this fragrance and my candles get good CT....(((Smile))), but I had a couple of reviews from customers and thank God they were my family members and very, very close friends. This fragrance is not giving a good Heat throw. The candle burned for an hour and the HT was very mild. The second time was for two hours and the same. This was a 16oz candle sitting in a Livingroom. 9% oil used.

Long lasting clean scent in cold process soap. Uncolored cold process soap is a beige color, no disernable discoloration. LOVE this scent and will be back for more! Wish I could post a picture here for you, this batch came out fabulous!

I love this fragrance and my candles get good cold throw, but I'm having a difficult time getting much hot throw at all. I'm using Coconut Soy wax and 9% fragrance oil percentage.

Smells great in bottle - no HT in melts

Disappointing. This smells good out the bottle but no HT with my 494 wax melts. I only let them cure 5 days - usually this is not an issue with my other scents.
I’m going to let them cure a bit longer to see if it improves.

A Great Fragrance oil for CP soap!

I bought this fragrance oil a few months ago because the companies I usually order from were out of stock. It was my first purchase from Candle Science and to be honest, I was a bit 'iffy'. I have waited to write this review until the original batch of CP soap completely cured and bars sold, so I could give an overall evaluation, start to finish. I will give this fragrance 5 stars. It performed well in the making, no ricing, maybe a very slight acceleration but nothing to complain about. The fragrance is nice OOB but, of course, that is often the case. My concern was whether it would hold up through the harsh environmental and curing process of CP soap. I can now say, much to my delight, the fragrance is strong and pleasant in the finish as well; customers buy it up. I have purchased more, thanks, Candle Science. If you like/need a coconut lime verbena scent, try this one.

Wonderful Coconut Lime

I made this in a shower soap, bar soap and Coconut Wax Candle. It was strong in all three and continues to be a best seller.

No hot throw

I ordered this scent because there were so many great reviews on ct and ht with 464 wax. I use the Libby tumblers and I’ve tried wooden wicks, cd18, 20,22. Cd 22 finally gave me a good melt pool, but I still don’t have a great hot throw. It’s very subtle. I have had wonderful results with my other CS fragrance oils, but this one is just not working for me. I really like the scent out of the bottle.

Purchased based on reviews - scent is mild, made candles hopefully that scent would be better. Not a good ht or ct.

I loved it strong!!!

I love this and it was super strong had the right balance of each scent in it will be buying again!

Very strong fragrance

Too strong for me, must of my clients liked the smell in the CP soap.

Absolutely love it! it's very fresh and just perfect for bathrooms and bedrooms! Will definitely order more!

Love this scent!

I really like this scent on its own or mixed with vanilla. It’s a hit with customers!

This fragrance is lovely! Homerun Candlescience! It smells just like the high end spa products in my room when I went to Cancun! Beachy, tropical. I used 1 0z per pound wax mixture. I've just used one melt in my bedroom so far, but its nice and strong without being sickening!

Strong Cheery Fragrance

This fragrance has a very, very strong throw both hot and cold. For those who like strong scents, you won't be disappointed.

My favorite!

My favorite! Reminds me of my past Florida vacations. Relaxing beachy smell. Also have a great cold and hot throw and I've made it in candles and wax melts.

Nice fragrance for spring & summer

I love this fragrance! I think it's really nice balance between the coconut and lime. I got the 1 oz sample size bottle to try it. I think it's a nice fragrance for spring. I used 1 oz fragrance oil to 1 lb GB444 soy wax. I think it gives a nice hot throw at that concentration, but I'm also burning the candle in my bedroom, so, not a big space. I'm surprised this doesn't have five stars.

Love love love!

I love this scent! Works so well in the 464 soy and smells fantastic. It’s the perfect amount of coconut and lime. It’s my all time favorite and I’ve sold a bunch already!

Brandy’s Wax and Wicks

Smells great

This fo was bad for my cp soap recipe, it seized after about 3 minutes of pouring it in my batter. I had to use my hands to pack my molds and I’m patiently waiting 20 hours to see how my soap turn out. This fo smells great tho.

Definitely coconut lime, but not a huge fan of the wood basenote.

I like this fragrance overall, and I think that in some applications it would smell absolutely great! But it just wasn't what I was expecting based on other coconut lime verbena scents I've smelled.

Coconut Lime Verbena

Worked perfect in my CP Soap no problems at all. Very strong fragrance even after 4 weeks curing. Also used in MP soap and had no problem. No discoloring was white as an be.

A Wonderful Medley of Beautifully Married Fragrances

Ohhh my! Candle Science’s Coconut Lime Verbena is layered in subtle complexity. My initial thoughts were “I don’t smell any coconut or lime.” and “what in the world is a verbena?” (Thanks Google!). After carefully taking in this scent and reassessing her notes, I noticed a balanced marriage between coconut and lime fragrances. At times I can pick up hints of bamboo, a green wood, or a clean green leafy aroma. What really makes this scent standout is how the citrus smell isn’t sharp or overpowering; it doesn’t drown out the coconut fragrance. The combination transforms the two into a heavenly harmonious aroma. I admit, I only read of about verbena, so I have no idea how this floral scent influences the others.

It makes me want to relax in a nice warm bath or have an evening mojito (or mint julep) while having my neck and shoulders massaged. I got a wonderful CT in soy wax. At around 7% the HT is rich, but not heavy or overwhelming. In my opinion this would make an excellent spa fragrance, but it’s a lovely fragrance if only used to spruce up your home after day of housecleaning and tending to the children. I can truly appreciate this offering from Candle Science. Well done folks. Well done!!

Everything was perfect. I do appreciate your great service and will most definitely order again from you.

This version is better than BBW. Strong, but without smelling too much like candy. AMAZING.

Not my favorite, but a best-seller!

Every time I make candles with this scent, they sell out. I think it smells good, although a little like soap... but my customers are obsessed, so I will continue to buy more!

Clean smell

So I personally could not smell the coconut in this fragrance my customers seem to love it. It puts off a nice tropical clean smell that is not very overpowering.

One of my favorites

I love this fragrance!!!! Great for summer!
