Mimosa and Mandarin (Discontinued)

Fragrance Oil

Mimosa and Mandarin is a bubbly citrus fragrance. Mandarin orange and champagne blend with mimosa blossoms and a touch of coconut. Warm amber, vanilla, and sandalwood round out this citrus sensation. Orange essential oil intensifies the juicy scent of freshly squeezed mandarin oranges. Mimosa and Mandarin candles and wax melts brighten any space with a refreshing burst of citrus. Add an appealing effervescence to your soaps, scrubs, and other body care products with this zesty fragrance. Cheers!

We did experience a moderate amount of acceleration but no separation. The batter was at a medium trace within seconds of stick blending. It remained workable enough to get into the mold with ease, and gentle tapping of the mold on the table easily smoothed the surface. We recommend adding the fragrance as late as possible and incorporating colors first, if using. After 24 hours the soap was discolored to a yellow shade and the scent became a strong sweet citrus. We observed that the soap reached a partial gel without any insulation. After 30 days the soap had discolored to a light brown shade. The scent became more of a sweet mandarin and was pleasantly strong. Due to the acceleration of the fragrance, a single color or simple layer pattern would be ideal. The discoloration may be overcome by adding some titanium dioxide to the soap batter.

*Note - This fragrance was tested at a 5% fragrance load. With the release of IFRAs 49th Amendment this fragrance can now be used at 4.98% to remain IFRA compliant.
