This is a nice citrus scent--a pleasant change for the winter months. I blended with a bit of clove fragrance oil and it is still citrus, but with a slight bit of spice.

Product Update March 17, 2021:
In 2020, we launched CandleScience Clean Scents™, a fragrance oil line we developed according to our own rigorous, industry-leading safety standards. As regulations evolve and new research becomes available, the criteria a fragrance must meet to be a Clean Scent evolves, too. Unfortunately, this fragrance no longer meets our strict requirement to be labeled a CandleScience Clean Scent™. At this time, we have no plans to discontinue this product until we have a replacement Clean Scent fragrance.
Peppercorn Pomander is a peppery twist on a traditional holiday fruit fragrance. Fresh cracked peppercorn blends with orange peel and mandarin for a spiced citrus treat. Tonka bean and vanilla in the base smooth out the zesty orange notes in this fragrance oil. Black pepper, clove leaf, and orange essential oils enhance the juicy citrus and piquant spice of this realistic scent. Create delightful gifts like candles and melts with Peppercorn Pomander, or venture into body care products with this intriguing scent.
This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils, including orange, black pepper, and clove leaf.

I love the smell of this fragrance! I took a candle (soy wax 464) to work and everyone kept commenting on how great the candle smelled!
I wanted a scent for my fall line that was different. Not like others. After letting my peppercorn candle cure for 2 weeks I was blown away with this ct. The heat throw is exceptional and I cant wait to see how my customers react to this must need scent!
coconut wax,12% fo
I want to preface this with the fact that I am extremely impatient. I often times do not allow my tester candles the proper time to cure ha. This is one of those times.
I made the candle around 3 pm and by midnight I was lighting it. This scent is lovely. I would say from the description I was expecting a spicy scent, but my nose doesn’t identify that (but it could be that I didn’t let it cure long enough). IN ANY CASE, the scent is the bomb, suuuuuper strong hot throw. I had it in my bedroom and you could smell it in an adjacent room and in the hallway. This is going in my candle line ASAP.
I received this as a free sample and I’m back the same day to purchase a bigger bottle. That’s how good it is.

This is a beautiful scent just not what it describes to be. It gives off more of a fruity orange cold and hot throw. Not a bad scent just no spice to this one.
Not bad, but it's definitely not peppercorn pomander. It smells exactly like opening up a bag of those orange slice jelly candies. I couldn't detect any peppery, spicy notes at all which was really disappointing. If you do want a sugary candy orange scent, look no further—it you want a sophisticated orange-spice scent, sadly this isn't it.
I'm not sure why some say it smells like spicy orange, to me it smells exactly like sticky red children's fruit punch. The smell just overwhelms everything. I do NOT recommend.
I wasn't the biggest fan of scent right out of the bottle, felt it was too spicy and woody. I used this ratio 50:50 using Mistletoe ( from another brand), this came out amazing. I used it in CP soaping making, my challenge was I wanted to make a winter all white soap, but many winter scents were causing discoloration or acceleration in the soap. I wish I could put the pictures up, This scent is quite different once finished project, it is nice clean, fresh, a woody, also had that nice winter feel to it. The color is beautiful white, no discoloration, no acceleration, Soap came out lovely. this is a keeper, Still have wait 3 weeks before I can sell the soap, already a favorite by many customers.
If you want a scent that's on the stronger side & will fill the house, this is a GREAT one!! I passed it up several times and took a chance on it and it's quickly been a favorite, I'm currently out of stock on it and keep getting requests for it. Buying more now!
Love this scent. You can completely smell the Mandarin with the snap of peppercorns. Nice balance. Tried this in cp soap and came out great. No discoloration, no acceleration. Scent is beautiful and strong after 4 weeks. Also smells great in my 444 wax.
It was too sweet for me but I cant deny it smelt delicious. I made 11 testers all different scents and with all my candles curing this one overpowered all of them. It had great CT and HT.
I took a chance on Peppercorn a year ago & WOW! My customers (male & female) absolutely love Peppercorn. I use it in my Aroma Ornaments & I can’t keep them in stock, the scent is beautiful & relaxing. I started making triple batches of tarts & candles last spring due to demand. When I burn a Peppercorn candle in my booth during events, I’d better be prepared to sell out that day, it definitely brings the customers in! My #1 scent! Thank you CandleScience for another amazing scent!!
My very favorite scent!
This scent is so beautiful and different! It throws amazing in 464 with a CD12 wick. I can't wait to order a bigger bottle. I'm trying to think of a cool name for this scent! And I'm wanting to carry this all year long. It's so lovely!!!
I love scent! It's a lovely smell that I think would appeal to most. However, after months of testing (and multiple wicks) I can't get a HT with coconut wax. Maybe it works better with other types of waxes, but I would take caution if you use only coconut wax.
Sweet, spicy, universally liked. Excellent with 1oz for 1 lbs of 444 soy wax.
This scent surprised me. The throw is wonderful with a very unique scent. My customers love this!
This has been a favorite since I first tried it. I’ve made soap and candles and both have been a hit! This week I added some clove oil when making candles and it is THE perfect holiday scent now! I will use the original year round and then add different spice scents in for the holidays. I’m ordering cedar oil today to mix!
This is a scent for people who don't usually like scented candles. It's not fruity, it's not bakery, it's not floral, it's not perfumey, it's not masculine or feminine. It's just fresh orange zest with notes of spice. Most people can pick out the orange note at first, and keep sniffing to identify the other scents. It's been a favorite this fall and winter!
I really like this Peppercorn Pomander. I love the smell of a freshly peeled orange, and though this isn't quite the same, it smells very nice. It definitely has an orangey scent, and slightly sweet, but not overly. It's strong enough to scent a large room, but also works in a smaller room. I've had candles that I could not burn for very long because they are so strong and irritating, but this is not one of them. I can smell it, but it doesn't give me a headache or irritate my throat. I used this FO in IGI 4630 wax. I made a 3 wick candle using the Candle science guide for the 3 wick, and it's perfect. Melts the wax to the edge of container and smells wonderful. T
My customers LOVE this FO.
Smell Exactly like Fruit Punch and I love it
I was intrigued & excited when I originally smelled a candle that had been made with this FO. When I bought the FO & went to work on candles & wax melts, I was disappointed. It smelled like I was making tons & tons of orange jello!!! After that I didn’t like it so much. I really love the description & concept. I wish it smelled more like a Pomander or even more like Peppercorns. It would be awesome with a bit of revision.
Based on the description, I was really hoping for an upscale scent to add to my line-up. And while this scent is good, it misses the mark. It smells EXACTLY like fruit punch.
This is an absolute winner in my wax melts! I run out of stock every time I re-stock it! Please don’t change it....EVER!!
I love this! It does smell like citrus and spice, when burning!
We are very happy with this scent! Our clients love it, we can’t keep our car aroma ornaments in stock in this scent!
This has me in Holiday mode. I knew i would like it-and I do, Holiday or not
My customers love this!! It definitely is more orange than Spice. It's lovely!!
We have tested and used many many Candlescience scents (close to 20?) and mostly like all of them. I understand everyone has different tastes, it makes the world fun. But this scent was a big miss. It is strong, (which I like) but it smells nothing like peppercorn or pomander. I was hoping for an upscale spice with citrus notes and this does not deliver. At all. After much sniffing I realized it smells like fruit punch. Like, Wedding shower bright red fruit punch. Not a fan.
I got wonderful throw with this scent in soy. Didn't get much peppercorn but lots of citrus goodness that filled the room. I was very pleased with this one.
I'm honestly a bit surprised by the positive reviews, as I simply don't think this scent captures the essence of a pomander at all. I was so hoping to love it, as I wanted to make a Christmas scent that smelled like my go-to Christmas tree, which has dried orange slices, clove, cinnamon, etc on it. This to me just smells like a fresh orange/citrus scent. I don't get any of the spices whatsoever.
It reminded me of the candy starburst
This smells so amazing! I made a small batch and the next morning the beautiful fragrance was still in the air. My new Fave. Thank you Candlescience!
Great cold and hot throw. Used this in my coconut wax and love it. It smells like orange and spices.
Purchased a sample bottle of this fo so glad I did smells amazing fingers crossed for this to be my number 1 fall seller
Way to sweet orange with an ending tone of musk. It was so gross!
This scent smells awesome. Just made a couple candles and a few tarts with it. If the finished product smells anywhere near as good as my house does right now, this is most definitely a winner
This is the perfect fall fragrance!!!! The throw is excellent in paraffin. A perfect orange cinnamon type fragrance.
I have to say I was a little apprehensive with this scent right OOB, but I made a sample candle just for fun, and so glad I did! It’s an amazing upscale scent with awesome CT and HT. It’s a great addition to my line up. Thank you!!
This is a really sophisticated scent, and it just might be my new favorite! I love the touch of fall spice, I think it has both masculine and feminine appeal.
Strong and fresh orange scent with hints of something spicy. Nice zesty orange scent with a strong throw that I can't wait to add to our line!
