Peppercorn Pomander Fragrance Oil
Choose a Variant

Product Update March 17, 2021:

In 2020, we launched CandleScience Clean Scents™, a fragrance oil line we developed according to our own rigorous, industry-leading safety standards. As regulations evolve and new research becomes available, the criteria a fragrance must meet to be a Clean Scent evolves, too. Unfortunately, this fragrance no longer meets our strict requirement to be labeled a CandleScience Clean Scent™. At this time, we have no plans to discontinue this product until we have a replacement Clean Scent fragrance.

Peppercorn Pomander is a peppery twist on a traditional holiday fruit fragrance. Fresh cracked peppercorn blends with orange peel and mandarin for a spiced citrus treat. Tonka bean and vanilla in the base smooth out the zesty orange notes in this fragrance oil. Black pepper, clove leaf, and orange essential oils enhance the juicy citrus and piquant spice of this realistic scent. Create delightful gifts like candles and melts with Peppercorn Pomander, or venture into body care products with this intriguing scent.

This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils, including orange, black pepper, and clove leaf.

Blends well with: Black SeaChristmas Hearth

Alternative branding ideas: Ginger Apple Spice, Orange and Peppercorn

Suggested colors: Orange, Red

Smells Amazing!

It brightens my whole living room and uplifts the mood with the fresh, citrus scents. I love it sooo much!! Pair with Black Sea it is next level!

Amazing in sugar scrub!

I purchased this and liked it ootb, but put off making anything with it because I don't typically gravitate to orange scents... But needed a nice orange for my line and OH MAN! It's so good! I blended with a tiny bit of lemon essential oil to brighten it up and it's amazing. It will be in my core line now. I need to make everything with it!

CP- 30 Days Later.....

My bars are beautiful, the FO works beautifully with my oils and butters, and there is no weird stuff happening, no discoloration, scented med-high load, fragrance is just right! Scent has remained reasonably strong, of course nothing like it is during the pour. It is sweet citrus without being cloying, the spice comes through beautifully. Peppercorn is as mentioned in my earlier review, is not prominent, it is a supporting character, and balances the spice preventing the too sweet characteristic typically found in this combination. This is an upscale sophisticated scent. For those reviewing OOB, you really have to see how it works after cure with your particular ingredients. As for me and my clients in Del Mar San Diego, we love it.

CP Soap Review

Fragrance is beautiful, dont judge OOB. Final fragrance is dependent on your ingredients. Filled house with beautiful orange bouquet. Soaped very well, stayed fluid throughout my design. I dont know about final cure discoloration yet. I soaped at 91 for batter at room temp 81 farenheit. I use a slow moving vegan recipe without shea, for CS fragrances I'm not sure of. My recipe is palm free, I use kaolin clay and sodium lactate. I had more time than i thought I would, should have some beautiful drop swirls, but could have done a more intricate design. Will revisit review in 30 days :) hope this helps you soapers out there! Fragrance is a nice orangey vanilla smells juicy and realistic, peppercorn just adds body, not perceptible as a stand alone scent in the blend, it's a supporting character. I think this is a fragrance worth trying especially if you appreciate citrus scents.

My Top Seller

I mix this scent with another Candle Science FO and this combo is my top seller. Note, it's still a strong and lovely scent on it's own.

Strong HT

This smells completely different than expected which is not a bad thing. To me is smells like fresh oranges with very little spice to it. Personally I think it more of a spring summer scent. It has a very strong HT in parasoy melts. I renamed it orange passion since the spice part is very light

Not exactly peppercorn

Not what I was hoping for. Was expecting more peppercorn fragrance. The orange and tonka are too overwhelming for my taste. Not worth sending back, so hopefully others will enjoy this fragrance so it's not a loss for me.

Holy Bajeebus

I had danced around getting this as a sample… but once I got a whiff of that 1oz, I immediately ordered a 16oz. I use a parasoy blend in my apothecary jar with an HTP 105 wick. Melt to 190, mix ASAP and pour into vessel at 130ish. Holy balls I was just doing a wick test, but damn this filled our two-story house on an overnight cure. It smells like Citron and Mandarin, but with a little spice and a lot of umph. With that said, if you love Citron and Mandarin, you will love Peppercorn Pomander too! I will burn this year-round!

Amazing!

I love this one so much - this is one of my favorite go-to Holiday blenders. Great on its own, but I've enjoyed mixing it with Fraser Fir, Cranberry Woods, and most recently, Chocolate Fudge (reminds me of those chocolate oranges I would get in my Christmas stocking as a kid). Amazing performance in 464.

Good, but…

To me this smells pretty identical to the citrus agave/volcano type scent. I was hoping for a little more spice from the peppercorn in this. Can’t really give it a bad rating because it smells really good, but the scent is not as advertised. I will probably end up blending with a spicier scent.
