This has become a best seller at our craft shows in Chester County, PA. Do not judge this scent by out of the bottle. Give it a chance cured in wax, as well as give others a chance to voice their opinion. This was not our favorite, but has become a craft show best seller, and we will most likely add this or Cashmere Plum to our year round collection.

Hobbyist here that does craft shows and bulk orders on Faire with my daughter. Making Hazelnut Coffee scented candles last night and accidentally mixed the Plum Baklava & Hazelnut Coffee together. It is a recommendation on the site to use those as a mixture & I wanted to leave a review and say that my daughter & I definitely agree. Plum can be a little too strong on the sweet side, and hazelnut can be a little too strong on the ... "coffee" side. Mixing the two together gives a perfect balance that I will introduce at our next craft show 11.14 and use hazelnut only for this weekend 10.30. Thought I'd give a rating to that mixture that we found to enjoy on accident lol.
Added flavor at 180F. I poured it into a candlestick at 136F. A cold candle smells delicious, but when it burns, it doesn't smell at all. Aroma 8%
I was on a hunt for a fruity Winter scent for my line. I have yet been satisfied with any Cranberry fragrance so I decided to give this a try. Its definitely nice. I gave it 5 stars for the heat throw! Its amazing. Fills my entire main floor! There's a complexity with the note layers that is slightly distasteful while its burning. Not sure what it is...bitter and slightly unpleasing. In my opinion I do like it better than the Cranberry scents and it is very different from anything else out there! Definitely worth a shot!
I hesitated buying this fragrance, because my customer base tends to shy away from sweeter scents, but wow! Decadent and delicious! Love love this scent! I haven’t introduced it to my customers yet, but had to come back to CS right away to get a bigger bottle.
Not my favorite
I wasn't a huge fan of this one out of the bottle, but used it to make a batch of candles. I have to say that it has a very nice smell when in wax (it is a nice bakery scent that is not overly sweet and smells of buttered pastry and fruit). My problem is with the hot throw. I use parasoy and usually have an amazing hot throw, especially with CandleScience oils which are my go-to oils. There IS a hot throw, but it is much lighter than other candles I have made. It is possible that it is throwing well, but that the fragrance is just much softer than others. I say, if you are looking for a soft, light bakery fragrance that is not sickly sweet, this is a wonderful fragrance, however, be ready for a much lighter hot throw compared to other CandleScience FOs.

I love this smell. A bakery smell with bright fruity notes. Very excited to see hot throw!
I really do love this fragrance. I just wish the hot throw was better. I used my usual 10% in 464 let it cure 2+ weeks. I do love how great the notes come through with the plum and pastry, I just wish it was stronger. Not sorry I got it, but I might just make this one in my larger size candle to hopefully get just a little bit more fragrance. Or I might experiment with it in a different wax.

I smell a bit of fruity, Spices and some sweet but not overly sweet. I made wax melts and candles customers are loving both.
Truthfully, OOB I thought this scent was nauseating- like a fruity cough syrup. But once mixed with several other CS scents in 464 wax, it is gorgeous. Bright plum top notes with hints of nut that really rounded out our blend. Great for the holidays. Give it a try!
It smelled nothing like the description had a real strong smell... I can't describe it but it does not smell good. Maybe if I mix some other smells with it I can get it to smell good.
I was afraid to try it but once I poured it in my 444 soy wax and it started curing it smelled so good and perfect for fall. Gives a cozy vibes…not too sweet and has a strong cold and hot throw.
I bought a sample recently and made a tester candle and was so impressed with this blend! I just ordered 3x 16oz bottles and may graduate to a jug eventually. Hot and cold throw are both great. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love the scent in the bottle, but it had no hot throw whatsoever in my candle. I only use igi 6006 so I'm familiar with it's performance. I used this fragrance at 9%
adding it at between 170 and 180, pouring at 170 and curing for three days. I really want to like this for my Christmas lineup, all the other reviews are great.
Hi there! I am so sorry your experience has been less than ideal with Red Plum Baklava. I'm grateful we've been able to chat via email about some tips and tricks to get your fragrance throw to be all the better! We look forward to continuing to brainstorm with you!
One of my favorites !!! I absolutely love love love This fragrance ! Just added to my Fall collection, can’t wait till it cures !!!
Straight out the bottle, smelt a little too fruity or perfumey. Didn't think I would dig it, but when I made the sample to see if it will make the fall lineup.. it totally changed my opinion in my wax blend. I do a 60/40 soy & coconut then add a bit of beeswax and this scent cures in the wax to make a beautiful scent. Don't judge a book by its cover, don't judge that fragrance til it cures in wax
I adore this scent! I bought a 1lb bottle of because the description sounded amazing and I had a feeling it would be just that. It surpassed my expectations and I am SO happy I decided to follow that feeling!! Can't wait to add it to my Fall line! Might even keep this year-round if it sells like I think it will. Mmm!
I ordered a sample, loved it immediately. Made a sample candle out of it and my four year old came down the stairs and said mmm, it smells so good in the hallway!!! After a couple of people smelled it I had 8 orders in a matter of minutes. I absolutely love this one. Definitely a new favorite, and a for sure winner!!
I hopped on here to just put this out there before I even made it into a candle because WOW. I tested this on my blotter strips and right away, all the fruity notes came out immediately and they were so strong and mouthwatering. After letting my blotter settle for a few minutes, I sniffed it and the nutty, sweet, notes (and the smallest hint of that cinnamon) really complimented the fruity notes. A perfect marriage. I can't wait to get cooking tonight.
