im confused

these reviews are stellar, i don't know what I was expecting but this smells like bug spray. it smells astringent. i will try to blend with something a bit more complex and earthy. but this is just a pure green leaves which isn't very enjoyable.

Just got a sample and I am blown away! What an unique scent! I love it and now have to order full size. A question to the CS team, what percentage is safe for wax melts? I use tw30 so 15 percent is normal for load for that wax. But I don't know if your fo have a safety limit?

Such a surprise!

I was very curious about this fragrance oil. I enjoy gardening and it really gives off a fresh veggie garden scent. It smells earthy and fresh with notes of herbs. I'm curious to see how this one sells in my business, but it's definitely one I will be keeping for myself as well regardless!

Love The Smell but

Being a gardener, I really loved the smell of this in the candles I made. My issue is that when the candle was burned the wax discolored with a faint brown tinge to it. I made candles in two different containers, and it happened in both containers. I used a 6.25% fragrance load.

Hi Cathy, thank you so much for your review! We're sorry to hear that you're seeing a bit of discoloration post-burn in your Tomato Leaf candles. This can be caused by a few different elements, and we'd love to learn a bit more about what you're seeing. A member of our Customer Support team is reaching out to you via email to further assist.

Hidden gem

Wow, honestly I have no fond memories of smelling a tomato leaf, I bought a sample bottle simple for the novelty to test out, and WOW is it really good! It is earthy and citrusy with a very clean scent, I can imagine with would really give that certain 'je ne sais quoi' to any earthy or citrusy blends you use. Even on it's own it is unique and a great scent, with a delicate HT.

Blends beautifully.

Sometimes my nose gets fussy with this one, not sure why, and it'll almost have an astringent scent to it. To fix this I blended it 1:1 with Petrichor...and it's PERFECT now, one of my absolute favorite blends. Smells just like garden soil around a tomato plant. Lovely!

Quite Nice and Accurate

I grew tomatoes in college for the first time and remember accidentally rubbing against the leaves while pulling the ripe tomatoes. The botanical, sharp scent is really lovely. This is not a tomato scent but the leaves themselves. It will be interesting to see how this blends but i think for fragrances too sweet and round this could provide an interesting counterpoint. On it's own you definitely need to be a gardener to appreciate....i think we need extra familiarity for this scent to land.
