Nature’s Gifts International (NGI) has discontinued production of this wax. We recommend testing EcoSoya Brands Q210 soy wax as a replacement.

A one-pour all natural container wax requiring no additives. The Ecosoya CB 135 has good scent throw and glass adhesion and pours with a smooth, level surface. Note: Wax is packaged in flake form.

I have built my business around this wax and so disappointed to hear it is being discontinued! Any alternative suggestions would be very helpful! 😢

Hi
We've been using this wax for 4 years now and just found out production is stoping! Can anyone recommend a good alternative? I'm dreading the whole testing process again, not only does it cost an absolute fortune but it's so time consuming.

ANY help or advice greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I'm new to candle making and bought this particular wax based on the reviews. I made several small batches, all of which seemed to dry with a frosted and wrinkled surface. I tried the heat gun trick, but it didn't work - it only caused the wax to evaporate a little and the pre-tabbed wick to melt/char a little. Has anyone else had this issue? Or perhaps it's just the batch I received?

Love

I switched back to this wax after several years. I was using the GB 464 but recently switched back due to issues pending with the GB wax. I must say, this is still a beautiful wax!! It took a little to get used to it but now I'm in love. It's a lovely color and adheres to the glass I think better than the other wax. I am ready to purchase more today, and just wanted to leave a review. If you are in the fence, try it you'll like it!

First Time Candle Maker

There was one review that stood out to me regarding there being a bad batch and it is now fixed so I ordered anyway! Believe it! This wax is great. I ordered a 50 lb as soon as I made my candles for the first time. They came out perfect! I've also compared pricing with other sites and they have the same great quality and at the best price per ounce! I will not order from anywhere else! Thank you Candle Science.

We tested wicks and waxes for 12 months extensively and this proved best in our climate. Smooth tops......No. But, this is easily remedied with a heat gun. It is worth the finishing touch. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy people! Think before you leave negative feedback for a product you have not fully invested time and effort into!

I am a soap maker, jewelry, tye dyer, so of course I need to make more of something, so massage oil candles, great! I made some and love them, I follow my rule of thumb and weight measure everything, get your temps where they need to be, do your cool downs, and do not rush anything. Turned out great, wonderful fragrances, great massage oil, very nourishing to the skin. I make everything myself and in small batches. Thanks Candle Science, love your products, These will be in my 2016 Season!

Rough tops and valleys.
I have been making candles for years with a different soy wax with nice smooth tops on one pour. I tried CB-135 to get better adhesion to the glass, which it does well. But as much as I try, I cannot get a smooth top. I have tried many different pouring temperatures, and even went as far as making a batch with no dyes or other additives and set the room temperature to a steady 70°, all with the same rough result. Not a single sellable candle. I will not buy this wax again.

Perfect Choice

I am new to candle making but when I was deciding on a wax I knew that I wanted to use a natural soy wax that was also compatible with essential oils. I'm so glad I chose Ecosoya CB-135! Not only do I have a good conscious using this product, this wax worked perfectly. I made my first candle without any flaws. It melted easily, poured fluidly (I poured at 115 degrees), and it hardened with a smooth, even surface. I also love the creamy white color of the finished candle. It has a nice cold scent throw and I was pleased with the hot scent throw. Of course using essential oils vs. fragrance oils will produce a softer aroma but nonetheless, this wax performed as it promised. After testing the made candle I was very happy with how even and smooth the wax re-hardened. I lit the candle and allowed it to burn several different times over a few days and each time it hardened with the same smooth surface. I have no desire to try or use any other wax. It is the perfect choice for making natural essential oil candles!

Has this wax changed?

I've been using this wax for 3 years and within the last year I've been having all sorts of issues from severe bloom/frost to poor glass adhesion. I now have to heat my jars which I never had to do before. Just curious, has this wax changed in any way?
