I received my jars quicker than I was expecting! And am very pleased! I ordered 2 cases of 12 ...My only problem was that the boxes were not sealed properly and in my opinion not packed sufficient to protect the glass properly.. there were cardboard dividers between the jars with just some styrofoam pellets at the bottom of the box... the only indication on the box that it was a glass package was at the bottom of the box ... but i was very relieved that only 1 jar of the 24 was broken. Very Happy with my purchase but hopeful that the company will package glass more carefully ... Would have definitely given 5 stars if the packaging was better but everything else is perfect!

These were my first jars that I used to practice. I used C3 and 464 wax both burned great with an ECO 10 wick. My question is what size label would you suggest using?
So, I am using 464 Soy Wax and CD8 wicks with my 4oz and 8oz Jelly Jars. When the candles burns for about an hour, it appears to tunnel and not burn wide and even. I see that this is the recommended wick, but what other wicks would you recommend to remedy this? I use CD18 for my 8oz tins but think those may be too much wick for this container. Please advise... Thanks!
I like these containers very much. I have been selling my candles at the farmers market and have had no complaints.
When I started, I just used mason jars from the store. I'm so glad I finally found a more professional jar that looks the exact same! I also love the simple design of it! It really let's my labels shine!
I love these Jar super cute.
Great jars. Simple and effective. Has anyone printed an Avery label for this jar and what size(s) would you recommend?
I just got the 8oz jelly jars (love the size)and also bought the para/soy blend wax (IGI 6006). Am afraid I got the wrong wax and wick size (HTP104). Could that be true? and got all wrong items for that jar?
I am about to purchase the container, but what wick would you recommend for C3 wax? Would it be the CD 8 as well?
What wick would you recommend when using Naturewax C3 in these jars?
I love these jars but my question is
Which wicks work best for these jars
I'm using 464 soy wax
Hi! We'd recommend testing with either an ECO 8 or a CD 8 wick for these jars and the 464 wax. Depending on your particular recipe, you may find that you'll need to wick up or down after a burn test. We'd be happy to troubleshoot further if you'd like to reach out to us at email@example.com!
Hi B Rose,
Warm your jars up in the oven or heat gun and lower your pour point to 120 instead. This what I do for mines, but sometimes Soy does that it’s not the jar. Great jar. Good luck
Hello! Maybe someone can help me out with this.. I am having some serious trouble getting the wax to adhere to these jars. I am using 464 golden brand wax, pouring between 145-150. We live in FL so the average temperature of the house is about 74/75. I have tried to cool these jars in different rooms of the home and nothing seems to be making a difference. ): I love these jars and so do my buyers but I have wasted wicks, stickers, and most importantly time because I have had to reheat and melt these back down to repour. I am heating them in the microwave to repour and this seems to work every time but just not logical. PLEASE HELP.
Great size for candles. Love these jars!
Love these! 464 wax with ECO 10 wick works great!
I make jellies and jam to sell at farmers markets. I live in NC so I drive and pick up my order . I have never had anything but a good experience from this company and the jars .And I Have recommended them to other friends. I love being able to buy local and save on shipping!
For a while, I was using the metal tins for my candles, but a friend of mine suggested the jelly jars when I was looking for something new. I adore them! Their size is perfect and they burn well; I use the 464 Soy Wax with an ECO 12 wick. I will definitely be buying these from now on!
These jars are great for making a substantial candle that won't break the customer's bank. I had to do a lot of wick testing, though since the wick guide didn't give me the right suggestion. I started with GB 464 and Eco 10 Wick. My flame was large, the melt pool was greater than 1/2", there was mushrooming, and the candles smoked excessively when blown out. I then tested the Eco 8 and Eco 6 in the same shot. I still had Mushrooming and a dancing flame with the 8. The Eco 6 took a little longer to spread across the whole top, but after about 2 hours, it was burning cleanly with no mushrooming, a safe sized flame, and melt pool under 1/2". I'm excited to have the correct sized wicks now so I can start pumping out candles in this jar. Remember to order a wick sample pack and do your own testing.
Using an ECO-10 wick in GB464 Soy, half-pint jelly jars are the cleanest burning candles I have ever made - 1/2" melt pool to the sides of the glass without mushrooming or soot. Great variety of lids available to finish off the look.
I love all of the Candlescience products I've purchased and used as well as these jars. Tried other jars as well but these are my favorite! Purchasing more after trying other jars!
I have been using these 8 oz jelly jars for 3 years with ecosoya cb135 and an eco 8 wick. They burn evenly and great scent throw. Perfect match for my 4 oz jelly jars. Thank you :)
I use Eco14 wick with the jelly jar. Gb464 wax. Burns well and I get a great hot throw. Glass gets hot after a while but I like the melt pool.
I have used the 8 oz jelly jar now for about 15 years. I just took a jar and filled it almost to the top and it was a full 8 ounces. It is a very good selling jar.
Crystal, this jar is sized by fluid ounce, you are probably measuring your filled jar by the weight less the tare on the scale. Take a 1 cup measuring cup, fill with water and pour the water into your jar and I believe the jar will hold the entire cup of water.
This says it holds 8 oz well no it does not it holds 4.5 ounces and that clear to the top. Not happy about this, How am I gonna pass these off as being 8 oz. LIe LIe LIe
i think it's perfect size for little gift.
i ordered 24bottles of 8oz.
i am satisfied.

i purchased this jar and would like suggestion on wick preferences. which wick work best with this 8 oz jar
I use these jars with comfort blend & the LX wicks. The results are fab! They are easy to work with & the Comfort Blend adheres to them really well. They also look great with the rustic lid. Rustic yet elegant at the same time. :)
These jars are easy to fill and label. The end results are awesome. I love the way that the IGI 4627 "comfort-blend" wax adheres to the sides.
I have been using this jar sents 2005 and have never had a problrm at all.
