I purchased these after the ones I used to purchase on Amazon were no longer available.
Pros - I like that the lids are separate and not hinged. The style is also similar, but a bit smaller.
Cons - the lids are a bit thin and fragile and tend to crack easily when removing them. I did notice this same trend with the hinged shells I bought on Amazon.

I was on the fence about buying these but got so tired of having to scrub silicone molds and inevitably have to replace the molds when they were worn and the appearance of my melts negatively affected. I am SO HAPPY I decided to try these! They come in two pieces so it's super easy to pour the wax in the clamshell without having to worry about bumping the lid and making a mess. The wax seems to cool more quickly in these than in silicone molds and they the final snap bars turn out awesome! No more having to slide the bars into clear bags while at the same time trying to avoid getting wax on the bags and best of all - they are SO much easier to transport to markets! If you make snap bars (or are thinking about it), using these clamshells will streamline your production and increase your productivity!

These clamshells are very easy to work it. The lid is separate from the shell itself giving you more space to make your wax melts. These also turn out very pretty!

These clamshells are perfect for wax melts. The two piece design makes it easy to fill the containers without the lid getting in the way, unlike similar hinged clamshells. The price and performance can't be beat!
