Ehhhh disappointed

I ordered these because I always hear pretty great things about Candle science products. I was disappointed by the finish on these tumblers. They don’t look as frosted/glossy as I would like, in fact they look a little cheap and flimsy looking. I want to order the black but I am afraid based off of my experience with these, that I will be equally as disappointed. I also used the wick that was suggested for this tumbler (Eco8) and that did not work out well at all.

Could be better...could be worse.

Are these the absolute best frosted jars on the market? No.
The coating on them doesn't appear to be evenly applied. At least on my initial order of them, they're not horrible, but if you look close enough, you can see the imperfections.
Had one damaged in shipping and CS immediately fixed the issue (I mean within five minutes of sending the email about the damaged one I had a response stating they're sending a replacement), so I do appreciate that.

Love them but a bit disappointed

I bought 5 cases of this lovely straight sided tumblers and I was so happy to get them!!! All were fine but one case, where one of the jars was broken in pieces, I mean im still gonna keep getting them cuz they are great. But I wish they would be handled with more care since they are glass. But I still also love them.

cheap quality

I just received my shipment this is the worst cheap quality jar ever purchased, they all scratch on the sides and on the bottom, the paint job is bad un even, doll, not smoothie rough to the touch and the box of 12 was missing one, quality control is poor, this would never should happen to any of us that trying to make our business stand out. won't purchase again , looking for another supplier.
PS:The one that I purchased previously was 100% pretty and better quality, glossy smooth and perfect.

Wick Help

If I'm using the 464 Soy Wax which is the best wick to use?

CandleScience Reply

Hi! We recommend starting with a CD 18 wick with that wax and this container. If you have any additional questions or would like to be assisted further, please feel free to contact us at support@candlescience.com. We are always happy to help!

Very Sexy Jars

I've been using these jars for a while now and I love them! They're very sexy and look great with the bronze lids. I double wick my candles with the eco-8 wicks and they burn great for me.

No good

I was hoping that once they launched the new ones that they would be a better quality. Not the case. These still scratch easily and most come chipped already.

Sadly I will have to find another supplier cause I cannot use these.

Hi! Thank you for speaking with us and giving us an opportunity to help with your damaged jars. If there is anything else we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach back out.

These containers do look cheap and not luxe and high quality as other places. They will do the job for a now starting business but just aren't that great compared to other manufacturers. Candle Science has limited vessel options anyway. So CS is not on the top of my list for quality vessels.

These new white candle jars are still SUB-PAR, and my clients are noticing that they are missing paint and look cheap. I had to find a new supplier, but when they are out, I have to still rely on these - for now - unfortunately. The latest shipment I received from CS last week was a total disappointment, and I'm actually embarrassed to sell these to clients as a luxe soy candle. There are major areas where the paint is flaked off or uneven. Several of the jars even had actual chips in them. No pride in the manufacturing of these anymore...as even the boxes they came in were haphazardly taped and looked messy.
Bring back the old jars or find a better alternative, please. Raising the price for a sub-par product that you still have not corrected does not give us customers confidence...and while we realise that some changes can't be helped, we do expect excellence in what we are spending OUR hard-earned money on.

Love the looks of these jars! If I'm using Q220 soy wax, what wick do you suggest I use?! Having trouble..

CandleScience Reply

Hi! We would usually recommend starting with an LX 26 wick for that wax and container. We'd be happy to help you troubleshoot further if you'd like to contact us at support@candlescience.com!

Very pretty!

Uniform white color to the tumbler, looks very upscale with a 2 or 3 inch square label. Very happy with my purchase.

Perfectly imperfect

I love these jars. Sleek and beautiful. Although some people aren't liking the inconsistency in the paint, I have no problem with a distressed look. (It's not that often though). It gives character. But if you're looking for total perfection, then these may be a little tricky. I love the size but make sure to look at the size before purchase in case its smaller than you hoped for.

I had no idea why I assumed these jars were bigger. So I’m a little disappointed but I have orders to place so I have to make due. I hope these will come in much larger sizes in the near future! I would’ve left 5stars but they’re smaller than what I wanted

White Candles Jar

I am very happy with these white jar , for me they look amazing! They’re fancy and very elegant for my candles.. I love it 🥰

Beautiful and durable

Love the look of these and how neutral they are with most decor. That being said, I dropped a box of candles (Box wasn’t even full, so plenty of room for jarring around) and NOT ONE BROKE. One or two may have gotten scuffed, but overall, I’m very please.

Love these

Everyone loves the look of these. Goes with most decor. Very durable. I had a whole box of candles fall out of the back of my truck and NONE broke. Maybe a few minor scuffs, and a few dented lids, but I was impressed.

Wish they were better...Disappointing.

I was eagerly anticipating the new jars but have to say I am hugely disappointed with them. The paint has been clearly tacked on the outside and easily chips off. They look cheap and awful - for my elevated brand these are a complete disaster. I wish they were better but will now need to look for another supplier. What happened to the old jars?? These ones were great and super premium.

I ordered these hoping they would be a better option to the clear ones that I have seen so many negative reviews in consistency. I love the white but there are some areas you can see sections that did not get painted well and it is not smooth looking and a solid white. This can be a problem especially if I want to use these for my line. I love the straight tumbler idea for my candles but may need to revise what I use. So frustrating. Hope this issue can be fixed
