I love the smell of crisp, dry leaves and that is what I get from this fragrance. Scent preference is so subjective, but one thing I really appreciated about this fragrance is that it did NOT contain an overbearing amount of cinnamon. In fact, the cinnamon was used to bring out the leaf notes. So, I respectfully disagree with the other reviewer's assessment of this fragrance as generic and "cinnamon drug store-ish." It is very earthy, so I also don't understand the comment about it being plastic-y. I might combine Fallen Leaves with a Smoked Birch fragrance I have on hand, or perhaps even a Firewood fragrance with a 3:1 ratio of Fallen Leaves to one of the other two fragrances I mentioned.
I can definitely smell this one very strongly out of the bottle. We all have different senses of smell. I, for the life of me, cannot smell anything but alcohol, for example, when I sniff BBW Cherry Blossom. This may be a fragrance like that (?); it may not register with everyone. Anyway, it seems to be getting mixed reviews, so I'm not sure what the fate will be for Fallen Leaves. But if it ever went on clearance due to it being out-of-favor with CS audience, you bet I'd take the opportunity to stock up on it! This would be a great blending fragrance!
