This is not my favorite fragrance. When i think fresh picked cucumber I think of fresh scents, relaxing scents. This smells like straight dirt. I had a customer tell me it smelled like someone poured fertilizers/chemicals into the garden with their cucumbers. Would not recommend, I am going to try the cucumber water and melon and hope that it smells way better than this.

We did not experience any acceleration but did see signs of separation and ricing. The batter came to an emulsion, then as a light trace began to form we observed some ricing. We continued stick blending until a medium to thick trace formed and the batter held together nicely without separating. The soap was still fluid enough to easily pour into the mold. After 24 hours there were no signs of discoloration, but we did observe a partial gel in the very center of the bars. The scent was quite strong. After 30 days there was no discoloration and the scent was still strong. Due to the potential separation, we recommend mixing in colors first then adding fragrance as late as possible. A design where a thick trace is needed, such as a spoon swirl, would be a good option when using this fragrance.*Note - This fragrance was tested at a 5% fragrance load. With the release of IFRAs 49th Amendment this fragrance can now be used at 4.6% to remain IFRA compliant.
This is the most disgusting thing I have ever smelled was really disappointed.
Mainly getting cucumber, basil, and spicy peppercorn notes on this one. It's interesting - not bad, but not my favorite. Could be a winner if blended with the right oil...
First out of the bottle this is cucumber with bitter rind notes. It's very accurate at this stage, but as it mellows, chemical notes come in and remind me very strongly of new carpet. It's not a bad smell at all, but it's odd. Still, I will continue to experiment and see if it works better in lotion, maybe?
I grow cucumbers in my garden every year and it smells just like picking a cucumber off the vine. Not just the watery scent of a fresh cucumber but also the smell of the vine and maybe just slightly an earthy back drop. I made it in a 464 candle and HT was great!
This smells VERY strongly of soil or dirt, I don't get much cucumber fragrance. Personally, I don't like the smell, but the throw is VERY strong.
It's like says, fresh picked.. It smells like the branch break more than the Cucumber to me.. Kinda stank.. lol.. But, mixed with Citronella it's not bad at all..
I don't know why there are complaints about this one. Smells exactly like cucumber!!! Cucumber is not really a scent that makes you go "wow" in the first place, but mixed with other scents it does SO well! I'd definitely suggest pairing it with a citrus. I even did a burn test and the hot and cold throw is fabulous! Love this one!
With this scent, you’d get the watery cucumber notes, the green leaves, even the smell of soil but what I don’t understand is why there’s a hint of pepper. Why? It has a great throw though both in soy and paraffin. Would’ve given it 5 stars if not for the peppery note.
This works really well in cold process soap! Strong after cure and mixes well with so many other fragrances. Very refreshing!
If you are looking for something earthly, and I mean earthly like you went got some dirt and put it in a bottle this would be it.
Wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the scent but it is a truly refreshing summer scent. It is strong out of the bottle. The CT and HT are amazing. Wonderful addition to the seasonal collection. So happy to have tried it.
I found this scent to be really strong. It had a spicy hint to it that I didn't enjoy.
Clear cucumber with bitter rind notes, but dries a bit dusty and with a tinge of new carpet. It's more true cucumber than I've found from other oil companies, though, and I think it will add a good punch to my herbal blends.
Such a fresh scent customers love this
Candlescience...you nailed it with Fresh Picked Cucumber! The scent has such a clean and fresh vibe and it has an excellent hot and cold throw! I have one on my dresser and my bedroom has the essence of fresh cucumbers! It is also a big seller at my local farmers market.
Clean, fresh, intoxicating. I tried this as a sample and made a candle to test it. The only regret I had was that I didn't buy more. My clients loved this scent in my bath bombs, body wash and in the candles. I will be making spa packages for the holidays and this will be one of the favorite scents I'll be using. It has an excellent hot and cold throw in candles and I use 464 Soy to make the candles. Nice even consistent scent that leaves a cool, fresh and clean scent. I will be ordering a lot of this Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall!
This scent is one of the most accurate scents on this site. So I will give it a 5 for that, but I absolutely hate cucumbers so the accuracy is definitely wasted on me.
I love this cucumber scent! Smells so fresh from the garden. Blends and holds well! I will be back for more!
Definitely smells like cucumber! Its kind of too strong on its own but I like it mixed with another scent (white sage lavender, or lilac)
It gives a great addition to other scents.
A wonderful fresh scent. fit's right into my farmers market line of Candles & wax melts. I may consider this for body butter. Not sure about CP soap yet. Great throw and performs wonderfully in my wax melts. LOVE IT
Very fresh and clean, exactly what I was expecting!
Very strong, straight up cucumber! It is so amazing that this fragrance OOB smells EXACTLY like a fresh cucumber! Ripe and right off of the vine!!! I feel like I need to mix it with something though....;)
Love love love this scent! Clean and fresh perfect for my new Spring line of candles . Most likely will use it in my soaps and scrubs as well! Definitely will be ordering more!
Smells EXACTLY like a fresh picked cucumber! Not a fan of the scent for a candle, but it’s spot on! CT is great in GW464, but have not burned yet! I don’t plan to stock this scent.
I'm not sure where this fits in my line, but I got it as a sample since it's new. It very much does smell like sliced cucumbers. Not mind blowing, not really great on its own. I'm thinking it needs to be mixed with something that gives it a pop because it's just rather flat on its own right now. Cucumber Mint was interesting because it was a mixture of mint, so maybe that's what this needs, a bit of mint or florals added to it. So far has a good cold throw and smelled strong out of the bottle. I have not done a burn test yet.
