One of our most popular fragrances, wrap your senses in an elegant blend of soft floral notes and marine highlights with Sea Salt and Orchid fragrance oil. Crisp ozonic top notes blend into mid notes of sea salt, lush green leaves, and intoxicating freesia all resting on a relaxing base of tonka bean, amber, and a hint of musk. This scent has a year round appeal and is ideally suited for an upscale spa or aromatherapy line.

This fragrance is infused with essential oils, including sweet orange peel, lemon, eucalyptus and clove leaf.

We experienced excessive acceleration but no separation. Initially, the batter was very fluid and reached a light trace slowly. A few more pulses of the stick blender and we had mashed potato textured soap. We scooped the chunks of soap out of the pot and pressed it firmly into the mold as best we could. Within 15 minutes, the soap was almost in a full gel and the surface had cracked open. After 24 hours we cut the soap into bars and found they were smooth except in the corners where we did not press down firmly enough. We observed that the soap reached a full gel and the outer rim of the soap discolored to a bright yellow while the middle remained unchanged. The scent was pleasantly strong. After 30 days the soap discolored to a dark tan color and the scent remained strong. We recommend hand stirring in this fragrance at a very light trace.

Diffuser approved?

I really love this scent. But I remember it wasn't stated as diffuser approved just recently (same as a bunch of other oils). What have changed?

Hi There. Thank you so much for leaving your review and asking this question. We are very happy to share that with the new IFRA 51 update this fragrance is now approved for diffuser use. While there have been no changes to the fragrance oil itself as IFRA continues to research and share their findings, we do see updates in the IFRA documentation. With their latest update, this scent is now approved for use in diffusers at up to 25%

I love this just made my tester for this and 1 other i do candles, wax melts and diffusers. didn't notice this isn't able to be used by diffusers :( i usually try to offer a diffuser option most of my candles and wax melt is these a reason for the diffuser not to be capable? or can i simply use less than the 25% recommended for most diffusers or anything of a simular scent that could be used within a diffuser to match this scent?

We don't currently recommend Sea Salt and Orchid for reed diffusers, as its IFRA maximum usage rate is below the amount most makers use and enjoy for best results. You can test up to the maximum fragrance load listed in Category 10A of the Sea Salt and Orchid IFRA Certificate.
