Product Notice, January 9, 2024: This product has been discontinued due to low sales. We recommend trying Leather and Labdanum.

Suede and Smoke fragrance oil evokes an atmosphere of relaxing with an after-dinner cordial in an old fashioned smoking room with worn leather chairs and smoldering cigars. Bold notes of leather and smoke make this a great option for sensual or masculine candle lines. Hints of amyris, musk, and moss complement the smokiness of this intensely earthy fragrance.

Whether used on its own or as a luxurious, smoky complement in a custom blend, Suede and Smoke will capture your imagination.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including cedarwood, patchouli, labdanum, and pine.

Note: This product is available in a non-standard 15 oz size due to a higher concentration of natural oils that make it less dense. This size is equivalent to the standard 16oz bottles available for most of our other fragrance oils.

Blends well with: Caribbean Teakwood, Moroccan Cashmere

Alternative branding ideas: Cigar Club, Smoking Jacket, Charcoal Suede, Embers and Oak, Leather and Char

Suggested colors: Navy, Grey

We did not experience any acceleration or separation. This fragrance was easy to work with and was slow to come to a light trace. After 24 hours we observed some fragrance pooling on the surface, which we blotted away before unmolding. The soap block had a beige and purple swirl discoloration and when we cut the bars the center remained a light yellow shade. We found a small golf ball sized area where the soap started to gel. The scent was quite strong but not as intense as the out of bottle character of the fragrance. After 30 days the soap had discolored to a purplish brown. The scent was very strong with a nice balance of leather notes and subtle smokiness.

Dear CS, please bring this scent back. There is NOTHING like it. It got discontinued right when I finished testing it and was ready to order for big batches. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the news before all the remaining product was purchased. This scent is amazing! There’s absolutely nothing like it.

I bought this scent, only 2 1oz bottles during the sale. By the time I made a candle with it in March, I found that I really loved it and others did too. Unfortunately, I was too late and it was no longer available.
Sometime, somewhere later, I came across a post from CS listing three scents that, when combined, would come close to the scent of Suede and Smoke. Could you possibly reply with the names of the 3 scents and proportions to use?

Thank you!
