This scent was a huge hit in my cold process soaps last November! It soaps wonderfully, but it does discolor dark brown, so be ready for that. It has a rich, almond/caramel scent, so if you love those kinds of scents, you'll love this one. :) I didn't experience any ricing, acceleration, or other difficulties while soaping at around 100F

I personally love this scent. We just added it to our line and its been a huge hit.
Smells horrible! Very artificial and sugary and waxy. My test burn gave me a migraine headache and made my poor puppy dog throw up. I double checked to make sure it was phthalate free and it is... I don't know why this scent caused pain & nausea to me and my dog. It smells nothing like pecan pie. There is not even a hint of pecan. I must add that Candle Science usually has the best fragrances of any I have used. Other suppliers don't even come close to the quality that CS puts out. I just don't like this "pecan pie".
The scent throw just wasn't there and the fragrance mottled my 464 wax (no color was added). I would not buy this again.
This one did not smell like Oecan Pie. Also though poured in the same manner I did with other scents, my other candles did not have blotchiness and this one did. I do not color my candles. I will not purchase this again.
This smells a lot better in the bottle than when I added it to the soy wax. It seems to have a chemical scent instead of the pecan pie I was hoping for.
Nice smell but wish it was a little stronger.
Sells well and has a nice sweet bakery scent.
I thought this would be a huge hit this fall. I only made 24 candles of this scent and it is now February and I still have half left. I put it next to the pumpkin soufflé which was probably a mistake because those sold out 3 times.
I didn't care much for this at first, but it really grew on me. My customers seem to enjoy it around Thanksgiving.
I like fragrances that smell like food but I was disappointed in this one. It smells extremely sweet and very artificial. Everyone I let sample it also didn't like it. I wont be reordering.
I had high hopes for this scent, and it smells nothing like pecan pie to me. Despite being inaccurate in smell, it was quite off-putting. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a bad batch, but everyone I've tested it on has hated it.
I wanted to mention that I used this for scent for pillar and votive candles using Ecosoya Pillar Blend and the scent throw was divine! I like the review that said it smells like pecan pie cooling on a window sill! I agree, especially mixed with a cinnamon or spice based fragrance oil for added sugary sweetness! I don't want this one to be discontinued so hope you all don't mind I gave it another, much deserved, 5 star review!
I used the Pecan Pie with another fragrance oil and it worked perfectly. It gave the "nutty" scent I was looking for. I'd say this one smells pretty mild out of the bottle, but if you put your nose in a bag of pecans that would probably smell just as fragrant. To add a sweeter "pie" scent it's easy to add something to it like Strudel & Spice or Cinnamon Buns. I don't know why it has mixed reviews...it will be a staple for my candle collection! Hope Candlescience keeps it around!!!
This one smells magnificent out of the bottle, but doesn't smell like anything when it burns! I thought this would be my favorite. I am sad.
This scent is very sweet smelling, some like that and some don't. I happen to be one of the ones that does so I gave it a 5-star rating. I will say though, even though it doesn't smell exaclty like Pecan Pie, they did a great job getting it close! I used GB464, 1oz/lb, ECO#10 wick
Out of the bottle this fragrance smells like a pie cooling on your window sill. I used it with soy wax and after the candle set the scent was not as strong as I expected, but it still smells delicious when you burn it! Will use again.
This is one of my best sellers! The cold throw is pretty disappointing, but the hot throw...oh, my! It's divine!
previous reviews misleading. this doesn't smell bad but it doesn't smell anything like pecan pie, more like plain cracked pecans. i'm going to try mixing it with something sweet to see if it helps
The Cold throw is amazing but the Hot throw isnt as strong. Im usually very pleased with CS oils, but I dont think I will purchase this fragrance again.
absolutely love this smell i have a 4oz jar &my house smells just like pecan pie so far this is the best/strongest scent i have bought.
Loved this fragrance this is great. I have an 1100 square foot home and the whole house smelt from top to bottom with 2 8oz candles going. I have gotten plenty of complements. I just ordered more because this is what I will be giving everybody for the Holidays.
Love this scent. Smells just like pecan pie.
The first day we presented this in our shop the customers went crazy. This is sure to be a big seller for us. Poured both in IGA 4630 (parafin) and GB 464 (soy). (1.75 oz. per Lb.) VERY strong hot and cold throw. Worked equally well in both blends. A real winner!
